As you begin working on your case, you will likely know the issues with regard to your case, and you will need a way to link documents that demonstrate those issues. In Ringtail, we define these as Issues. As documents are reviewed, Issues can be identified, making it easier to locate the documents.
Issues are also commonly used as a means of categorizing documents. For example, you can set up issues for "working documents," or maybe for documents that are "potentially responsive," etc.
Documents can be coded to one or more issues.
You can then search for documents that match any issue.
