You can count the number of documents in an assignment or a search result, and determine additional information about the documents, such as the number of printable pages and the file size.
Use the following procedure to view document counts.
1.Perform a search or open an assignment.
2.In the List pane, select the check box next to the documents that you want information about. To select all documents, select the check box at the top of the column.
3.On the Tools menu, click Document count.
The following information about the documents appears:
oTotal documents: Number of individual documents.
oTotal pages: Number of pages in all the documents. A single document can have multiple pages.
oPrintable pages: Number of pages that you can print. Only TIFF and .jpeg files are printable. The count refers to single-page images and ignores multiple-page TIFFs and images.
oTotal file size: Total file size of all the documents.
oSource files: Total file size of all the source files. A source file is the highest-ranked file for each imported document. The highest-ranked file is the primary file associated with a document when several files on the server are associated with a document. This is the file used during analysis.
