Coded documents that are removed, or swept, from the Map appear in color-coded set-aside clusters located on the right side of the Map pane. A label on the set-aside cluster indicates the total number of coded documents.
When you select a document or a set-aside cluster, the documents appear in the Working list. The active document appears in the View pane.
The following table describes how to work with coded documents in the set-aside clusters.
To do the following... |
Do this... |
View documents in a set-aside cluster |
Click the edge of a set-aside cluster. The documents appear in the Working list and the cluster has a solid border. (A dashed border indicates that only some of the documents are selected.) The display options that you select for the Map affect what appears. For example, if Set aside on family code is selected, then attachments to a document appear in the same set-aside cluster, even though they may have a different quick code than the family code. If you select an attachment that is coded with a different quick code, then the set-aside cluster is highlighted with a dashed border. For more information about selecting display options for the Map, see Customize the Map display. |
View the concepts associated with a document |
Hover over the set-aside cluster. The tooltip that appears indicates the number of documents for each quick code, the top concepts, and the first few document titles. |
Select a document in a set-aside cluster |
Hover over a colored dot in a cluster to view the document's name and the associated concepts. When you double-click a document dot, the document becomes the active document and a triangle appears in the circle (and in the Working list). The document also appears in the View pane. |
Change a document's quick code |
Select a document. Right-click in the Map, and then select a new quick code from the list. Or, change the quick code in the Working list. |
Move selected documents in a set-aside cluster back into the Map |
In the Map pane, select a document. On the Map menu, click Unsweep. |
Move all documents in a set-aside cluster back into the Map |
In the Browse pane, in the Quick Codes section, clear the colored broom for the quick code that you want to move back into the Map. The colored set-aside cluster for those documents disappears and the Map automatically clusters documents again. |
