System administrators can do the following from the Users and Deleted users pages:
Portal administrators can add, assign, and manage users with a portal administrator or lower portal user category.
For portal administrators, when organization security is enabled, the list of available items depends on membership in a provider or client organization. To understand how organizations are managed in Ringtail, see Organizations. For a summary of how organization security affects portal access for each Ringtail user category, see Portal security table.
Use the following procedure to view the list of Ringtail users.
1.On the Portal Home page, under Portal Management, click User Administration.
2.On the Users page, you can filter the list of users by case by typing or selecting a case in the All cases list. Only active cases are shown. You can also filter individual columns.
Note: On the Users page, Ringtail includes specific data about the filter results in the message bar when you apply a column filter.
The following columns are available on the Users page.
o(User category icon): Represents the user category.
oName: Configured first and last name of the user.
oUser name: User login name
oCases: The number of cases this user is assigned to. Click the number to view the list of cases.
oEmail: User email address, if one is configured for the user.
oOrganization: Organization name, if this user is assigned to an organization. If a number appears in this column, the user is assigned to multiple organizations. Hover over the number to view the organization names in alphabetical order.
oCompany: Company name, if any.
oIdentity provider: If an identity provider is configured and assigned to this user's organization, the read-only name of the provider appears here. Users without an identity provider log in to Ringtail using the default authentication method for the portal (Ringtail authentication or Windows Active Directory authentication).
oDisabled: A dot appears in this column if the user account is disabled.
oLicenses: The number of licenses assigned to this user.
oSessions: The number of active sessions for this for this user.
oActive cases: The number of cases in which the user is active.
oLast login: Date and time that the user last logged in to Ringtail.
3.To download a spreadsheet of the user information that appears on the Users page, click Download report. When you download the report, you can select the Users with case detail option to include details about user case restrictions in the report. For information on user case restriction, see Assign users to a case.
