A supervisor is a server that starts the worker process in order to run tasks in the Ringtail Processing Framework (RPF). Tasks can include, for example, indexing and enrichment tasks. A single supervisor can have multiple workers, and multiple supervisors report to a single coordinator.
You can view all supervisors associated with a portal and the supervisors' properties.
Use the following procedure to view all supervisors.
1.On the Portal Home page, under Portal Management, click Processing.
The processing dashboard appears
2.To view all supervisors, click View all supervisors. Or, in the navigation pane, click Supervisors.
The following table describes the information on the Supervisors page.
Column |
Description |
Supervisor |
The name of the supervisor. Click a supervisor to view its properties. |
CPU |
The percentage of the CPU the supervisor uses to process jobs. |
Memory (MB) |
The amount of memory available on the supervisor, in megabytes. |
Tasks |
The number of tasks currently running on the supervisor. |
3.To view a supervisor's properties, under Supervisor, click a supervisor name.
