Only administrators can unlock a production. For more information about setting group security for productions, see Set security for productions.
Note: If the Unlock process fails, a “Locked with errors” status may appear. In most cases, you can run the unlock process again to unlock the production.
Use the following procedure to unlock a production.
1.On the Case Home page, under Manage Documents, click Productions.
2.In the Productions list, click the name of the production to unlock.
4.Optionally, in the Unlock production dialog box, enter a comment.
Note: In the Productions list, the processing symbol replaces the locked symbol beside the name of the production, indicating that the unlocking job has been submitted to the Ringtail Processing Framework (RPF).
6.To view the status of the job, open the production History page.
Note: There are two RPF jobs associated with Unlock: Production Unlock and Production Doc Delete.
If errors occur during the process, see the RPF error logs or contact your administrator.
