Case administrators and group leaders can view and edit the properties and dimensions of a cube. Group leaders can only edit this information when the cube is online.
Use the following procedure to edit cube properties.
1.On the Case Home page, under Analysis, click Cubes.
2.Click the cube that you want to edit.
3.In the navigation pane, click Properties.
4.Update the cube properties as necessary. Administrators and group leaders can edit the following fields:

oName
oDescription
oDocuments: purpose
oDocuments: source: Binder or saved search
oReport on pick list, for coding details cubes
oField detail, for coding details cubes
oDate detail, for coding details cubes
5.Click Save.
6.If you change the Documents purpose or Documents source fields, you must rebuild the cube to update the documents that appear in the cube. For information about how to rebuild a cube, see Build and schedule a cube.
Dimensions are the rows and columns in a cube. You can edit the name of a dimension, or change the data that is associated with a dimension. For more information about dimensions, see Add dimensions to a cube.
Note: You cannot edit a dimension of a cube currently being built in Ringtail.
Use the following procedure to edit an existing dimension.
1.On the Case Home page, under Analysis, click Cubes.
2.Click the cube that you want to edit.
3.In the navigation pane, click Dimensions.
4.On the Dimensions page, click the name of the dimension that you want to edit.
5.On the Properties page, modify dimension details. The Dimension type and Parent information is read-only. For information about the available data types and options, see Add data to dimensions.
6.Click Save.
7.To view the updated data, rebuild the cube. For information about how to rebuild a cube, see Build and schedule a cube.
