If you want to put an assignment on hold, you can suspend an assignment. When you are ready to continue working on the assignment, you can reactivate, or unsuspend, the assignment.
Note: If you are a group leader with permissions, you can suspend and unsuspend the assignments of other users. For more information, see Clear, revoke, or suspend assignments.
Use the following procedure to suspend or unsuspend your assignments.
1.On the Case Home page, in the navigation pane, click My Assignments.
2.Select the check box next to the assignments that you want to modify.
3.Click one of the following:
oSuspend: Puts an assignment on hold. The assignment remains assigned to you. You cannot clear a suspended assignment.
Note: Your administrator configures the maximum number of assignments that you can suspend at one time.
oUnsuspend: Reactivates a suspended assignment.
